Gears and Gear Racks (816)

Gears and gear racks are an integral part of gear drives, which are the most commonly used drives in drive technology. They are used to transmit the rotational motion from the drive shaft of the driving machine to the driven shaft of the working machine in a uniform and precise manner. Their basic function is to adjust the rotational frequency and to transmit and transform torque. The advantage of using gear transmission for heavy loads is the high precision of control and gear ratios, low energy loss, increased efficiency of torque transfer between shafts and long service life. Our range includes spur gears, conical gears and  gears manufactured by BEA and others.

Gears consist of one or more gear pairs (driven and driven gears rotating in opposite directions during operation) and are mainly used to drive assembly belts, construction machinery, pumps, woodworking machines, mixers, cranes, hoists, etc. For more demanding applications, steel gears are suitable, while plastic gears are sufficient for the transmission of lower power and often do not require additional lubrication, resulting in clean operation. Gears and toothed battens are available from BEA, Chiaravalli and Mädler.
